Program Cancellation and Refund Policy

Pre-registration is required for all public tours, including school and adult group tours and special events such as birthday parties. Please contact the Education and Public Programs Coordinator to reserve your attendance and to complete your payment in full prior to your event. Cancellations must be received no later than seven (7 )days prior to the tour or event for a full refund.

  1. Cancellations must be received no later than seven (7) days prior to the start date of the program for a full refund less a $35.00 administration fee to process refunds that are requested by the registrant.
  2. Any withdrawals/cancellations made less than two weeks before the start of the program/event will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee less the administration charge.
  3. Any withdrawals and cancellations less than one week before the start of the program will be refunded 25% of the registration fee less the administration charge.
  4.  No refunds will be eligible for withdrawals/cancellations on the day of the event or after the program/event has started. No refunds or credit will be given for any absences that occur during the course of the program or event.
  5. A full refund will be issued in the event that AWE is required to cancel an event due to insufficient registration or funding.
  6. Refunds will be issued by cheque within 6-8 weeks.
  7. Fundraising and ticketed events are not eligible for refunds.
